Since these conditions can lead to great pain and discomfort in your pets, it is important to identify the cause and get appropriate treatment for them right away. This is an oral antibiotic for pets, and it can be mixed with food during feeding time. SMZ-TMP Rx is a veterinarian-prescribed medication. Be sure to follow your vet's instructions when using SMZ-TMP Rx. Directions: Follow your Veterinarian's prescription instructions for your pet. Always have plenty of drinking water available - your pet should not become dehydrated while taking SMZ-TMP. Shake liquid forms well before use. Give by mouth. This medication may be given with food. If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once. Caution: Not for use in animals who are hypersensitive allergic to it or other sulfa medications.
