Prescription items are NON-RETURNABLE and NON REFUNDABLE Neo-Poly-Bac Ophthalmic Ointment Neo-poly-bac is a sterile ophthalmic ointment that contains the antibiotics: Neomycin, Polymyxin B, and Bacitracin Zinc. This product does not contain any steroidal ingredients. Each gram of ointment contains: 3.5mg Neomycin base, 10,000 Polymyxin B units, and 400 Bacitracin units. Benefits: Neo-poly-bac treats bacterial infections of the eyes and eyelids and can be safely used in many species including cats, dogs and horses. For use: Dogs, cats & horses Active ingredient(s): neomycin, polymyxin B, & bacitracin zinc Caution(s): This medication does not have an FDA approved indication for use in animals, but it is a common and acceptable practice for veterinarians to prescribe this human medication for use in animals. Inform your veterinarian prior to use of this medication if your pet is using other eye drops or eye medications. Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.
